PHOTOVOLTAICS

Photovoltaic installations are sets of devices, for example photovoltaic panels, inverters, allowing the production of electricity directly from solar radiation. Thanks to this rapidly growing field of renewable energy, everyone can produce electricity from a solar plant on the roof or yard, saving on bills and earning surpluses for the resale.                   PROECO provides clients with full support, both at the design and investment stage, from the formal and technical side. We offer photovoltaic installation.

PHOTOVOLTAIC EFFECT

This phenomenon is used in photovoltaic panels. Solar radiation (photons) falling on a PV cell causes the electrons to be emitted from the nanostructure of the silicon building the cell. Between the positive (p) and negative (n) layers, a potential difference arises, which results in the flow of electrons between the electrodes connected to both layers, i.e. generating electric current (constant). Off-Grid systems are used mainly in places where there is no access to the network, and it is too expensive to bring the power grid. In these systems, batteries are an energy storage, so we can use solar energy even at night, in the absence of adequate solar radiation.

The On-grid system is characterized by connecting the panels directly with the inverter. The cost of the On-Grid system in terms of maximum watt power is usually lower than in Off-grid systems. This is due to the lack of the need to use batteries, the cost of which in the Off-Grid system can reach up to 40% of the total system value. In addition, this installation is cheaper to maintain because there is no need to periodically replace storage batteries. Thanks to the physical connection to the network, we can sell excess of energy at very attractive rates or use it for our own needs.

A home photovoltaic installation can satisfy 100% of the electricity demand

A well-designed PV installation can meet the energy needs of the average Polish family. This current will successfully supply home appliances: a washing machine, a refrigerator, a TV set, a computer, a dryer, an iron (you can exchange it for a long time) and provide electricity for lighting at home.

Installation process

According to the amended Construction Law, the installation of photovoltaic devices with an installed electrical power of up to 40 kW does not require a building permission.

Photovoltaic installation does not require changes in the construction of the house

Installation of the photovoltaic does not usually require roof reinforcement, typically designed for loads much higher than those that come from the panels. The only requirement is to provide the panels with the required un-shaded roof surface. For panels with a total power of 4.5 kW, the minimum required area is approx. 30 sq m, facing south or south-west (as a last resort south-east). In the case when there is no such surface on the roof, it is possible to put the structure on the ground – an un-shaded piece of the building plot is enough.
